Rosemary Thomas
1948-2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing
of Rosemary (Burgoyne) Thomas on November 23, 2019 at the Dr. Everett
Chalmers Hospital. Born on April 15, 1948 in Fredericton, New
Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Frank Alexander and
Frances Elizabeth (McCaughey) Burgoyne.
She will be deeply missed by her husband of 50 years, Stephen
Thomas; daughters, Patricia Rickard (Randy) and Pam Thomas;
grandchild, Savannah Thomas; sisters, Sharon Brodie (and family),
Maureen Gould (Donnie) and Susan Craig (Frank); as well as nieces,
nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Rosemary is predeceased by her
sisters, Anne Lister, Catherine Hodgson and Agnes
Scribner.
Stephen and the girls would like to thank all family and
friends who have shown such care and concern during this difficult
time.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at
McAdam’s Funeral Home from 6-8 pm. A memorial mass will be
held at St. Dunstan’s Catholic Church on Friday, November
29, 2019 at 12:05 pm with Fr. Bill Brennan and Fr. Gerry White as
celebrants. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St.
Dunstan’s Building Fund or Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital
Foundation.
