With great sadness, the family announces the passing of David James Mollison, of Durham, at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Saturday, November 23rd, 2019 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of the late Bonita “Bonnie” Mollison (nee Marchand). Loving father of Cheri, Kim and her husband Jeff, and Michelle. Cherished grandfather of Taylor (Fin), Tara (Cat), Cierra, Jenna, Jenna (Jordan), Anna. Great-grandfather of Kayli and Riley. Dear brother of Evelyn Webb and brother-in-law of Ted Paul. Predeceased by his grandson James David and sister Freya Paul. David retired from the Toronto Fire service as District Chief and had been a member of the Fire Buffs Association for 33 years. He was a town councillor for West Grey and Durham for 14 years, a member of the Hanover Rotary Club and volunteered for many years with Home & Community Support Services as well as many other community projects and causes.
Celebration of Life::
Cremation has taken place. A come and go celebration of David’s life will be held at the Durham Legion, 271 Bruce Street North, Durham on Sunday, December 1st from 1 – 5 p.m., with tributes being shared at 2 p.m.
