Marion Elizabeth Keith
Marion E. Keith, 91, of The
Briarlea, and formerly of Fifth St., Moncton, passed away peacefully,
within the comforts of her residence, on Thursday, October 31,
2019.
Born in Turtle Creek, she was
the daughter of the late William and Alma (Wilson)
Leaman.
Marion was a “Peaks
Angel”, having worked 23 years at Peaks Clothing on Main Street
in Moncton and retired from NB Liquor Corporation with 21
years’ service as a clerk. She was a member of the Moncton
Wesleyan Church and the Wesleyan Church Seniors
Group.
In past years, she enjoyed
bowling, playing darts and was an avid knitter. Marion enjoyed
watching all sports, especially hockey, baseball and curling and
socializing with her friends and family.
Marion will be sadly missed by
her children, Brenda Keith of Riverview, Cathy Bannister (Gerald) and
Brian Keith (Bonnie), both of Moncton and Kim LeBlanc (Stephen) of
Fredericton; grandchildren, Natacha and Scott Bainbridge, Tania
Bannister, Douglas “Doug” Bannister, Nicholas Keith
(Ashlee), Aimee Keith (Nick Stewart), Keith and Jacob LeBlanc; eight
great grandchildren; sister, Irene Smith of Fredericton; several
nieces, nephews and extended family members and special friends of
several years, Neil, Carol Ann Bryant and
family.
In addition to her parents,
she was predeceased by her husband, Gordon R. Keith (2005); sisters,
Lottie, Martha, Katherine, Mae, Vica and Hilda and brothers, Blair,
Lester, Fred, Harold and Gerald.
Visitation at Fergusons
Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Sunday from
2:00 to 4:00 pm. A Service to celebrate and honour Marion’s
life will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Monday,
November 4, 2019 at 11:00 am. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception
Centre following the service. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial
Gardens.
In Marion’s memory,
donations to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital, Moncton Wesleyan
Church or a memorial of the donor’s choice would be
