Marie Jean Clark
Our beloved “Sweet Marie” passed away on November 22, 2019 at 97 years of age. Marie was born June 13, 1922 in Caledonia, Ontario. The fifth of nine children of the late Robert Clark and Mary Clark- Beaugrand. Marie was predeceased by her siblings Joseph, Frank, Stephen, Robert, Gerald, Neil, Jean Senay and her dearest lifelong friend Verna Kavanaugh. Loving sister of Anne (late Bernie) Berthiaume and sister-in-law of Peggy Clark. Cherished aunt of the Clark, Senay and Berthiaume nieces and nephews.
Marie was a Chrysler Retiree of 42 years, she was an all-star player for the Silverwoods Dairy Softball Team and later in life enjoyed golf, bowling and cards. In retirement Marie volunteered at Hotel-Dieu Hospital and was a volunteer driver for members of the local C.W.A.C. Marie enjoyed her summers at her cottage in Sauble Beach where friends and family gathered. She was a longtime parishioner at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish and a proud member of the C.W.L.
If you so desire, donations to the Downtown Mission or the Alzheimer’s Society of Windsor & Es County would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the staff at Huron Lodge 4th floor – Dogwood Unit for their exemplary care and compassion.
Visitation Monday, November 25, 2019 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Parish Prayers at 4:30 p.m. at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. On Tuesday, November 26, 2019 family and friends are invited to meet at Corpus Christi Church (1400 Cabana Rd. W.) from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Procession to Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
