Passed away peacefully on Monday, November 11, 2019 at Extendicare York at the age of 89.
Beloved daughter of the late Donald and Genevieve (nee Ryan) Beaton both predeceased. Dear sister of Don (Toni) (Claudette predeceased), Bernadette Myher (Don), Sr. Catherine Beaton CSJ, Ambrose (Anne) both predeceased, Gregory predeceased (Caroline) (Eleanor predeceased), Augustine predeceased (Sally), Rosella Cook predeceased (Jasper) and Adelaide Mailhot (Norm) both predeceased. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Margaret was born in Inverness, Nova Scotia and moved to Sudbury in 1950. As an RNA, she worked at the St. Joseph and Laurentian Hospitals. The family would like to express their gratitude to Sr. Sarah, Sr. Shirley and Sr. Diane CSJ for their prayers and support during this difficult time. They would also like to express their gratitude to the caring doctors, nurses and staff at Finlandia Village and Extendicare York 5th & 6th floors.
Funeral Service
in the
Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent St., at Hazel St.
Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 12noon.
(Friends may call Friday from 2-5pm and after 10am Saturday)
Cremation with interment in the Lasalle Cemetery.
Donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated.
