Lois passed away at Lanark Lodge, Perth on Wednesday November 20th, 2019 at the age of 91 years. She was predeceased by her parents Wilbert and Lula (Morris) Publow, her husband Gordon “Mike” Sergeant and her brother Donald Publow. She will be sadly missed by her son Douglas (Jo-Anne) and their children Kyle and Scott (Kristen), daughter Wanda (late Al) McGuire and her children Erika (Peter Martin) Kiss, Sandra McGuire, Stephanie (Larry Meldrum) McGuire, grandchildren Tristan and Kaelyn and sister Sandra (Ronald) Young. Lois will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Dorothy Publow, all her family and friends. She retired after many years in retail with Shaw’s of Perth and Cavers Jewelers and was a long-time devoted member of the Perth Lioness Club.
Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Friday November 22nd, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Saturday at 10:30 A.M. followed by a reception in the Blair & Son Family Centre. Interment in Crawford Cemetery following the reception. In remembrance, contributions to the Lanark Lodge Memorial Fund or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated. The Sergeant family would like to thank everyone involved at Lanark Lodge for the outstanding care provided to Lois during her stay.
