SERVICE, John Robertson
Passed away at his residence on Monday November 11th, 2019. John Service of Ennismore, formerly of Scarborough in his 71st year. Beloved husband of Sharon (nee. Burbidge) of 50 years. Cherished father of Jo-Anne Hand (Michael), Aprile Panagakos (Loui) and Rhiannon Burton (Phil). Loved and missed by his grandchildren Matthew, Michael, Evan, Christina, Josh, Connor and Scarlet. Predeceased by his parents Maurice and Elizabeth Service. Private family arrangements entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street. A celebration of John’s life will be held at a later date. John will be remembered as “John the FedEx Man”, as he was an employee of FedEx for 30 years and more recently as “John the Record Man”. John was the Miami Dolphins #1 Football fan. He was also a long time camper at Camp Oak-a-Lea.
