Joan Marie Washburn passed away at University Hospital, London on November 26, 2019 at the age of 84.
Joan is predeceased by her loving husband Dennis Washburn (2003). She will be dearly missed by her two sons Jonni and Jeffrey and her daughter-in-law Andrea. She leaves behind her step-children Julie Roberts (Brian) and John Washburn (Debbie). “Nanny” will be missed by her grandchildren Matthew, Emma and David and great-grandchildren Brianna, Dean and Damon.
Joan was a lifetime member of the UCW. Her greatest pride in life was in raising her children.
In honour of Joan, a casual gathering will be held for family and friends at the Royal Canadian Legion (Branch 8), 804 Ontario Street, Stratford, on December 14, 2019 from 1-4 pm. All are welcome to stop in and celebrate her life. Cremation has taken place.
