1924-2019
Mrs. Jean Eunice (Shepherd) Green, formally of Seal Cove,
Grand Manan, NB, passed away on Tuesday evening, November, 19, 2019 at
Rocmaura Nursing Home, in Saint John, NB, she was 95. Born on Grand
Manan, NB, she was the daughter of the late Hughiton Burns and
Madeline Ruby (Green) Shepherd.
Jean is survived by her, daughter, Sylvia Norman of St.
Stephen, NB; two sons Victor Green of St. Stephen, NB, Freddy Green of
Seal Cove, Grand Manan, NB; three grandsons Martin Ingersoll, Claude
Ross Green and Kelly Green all of Grand Manan, four great
grandchildren; two sisters Christine Lomax of Lepreau, NB, Patricia
McNab of Alberta; two brothers Fraser (Lillian) Shepherd, of Grand
Harbour, Wendell (Elaine) Shepherd of Florida,
sister-in-law’s Gerry Shepherd, Elva Shepherd, and many
nieces and nephews.
Jean is predeceased by her parents, herfirst husband, Ross
Green; her second husband, DeVerne Green Sr.; two baby children Sandra
and Ruby; two sisters, Bernice (Charles) Thompson, Audrey (James)
Ingalls; two brothers, Allison and Murray Shepherd; brother-in-law
Cecil Lomax.
There will be visitation on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at The
Immanuel Family Church at 1:00 PM. Funeral Service will be from the
Immanuel Family Church at 2:00 PM. Interment Service will be at Maple
Grove Cemetery.
For those who wish, a donation in Jean’s memory can
be made to Alzheimer Society of NB, Heart & Stroke foundation
of NB, or to the charity of the donor’s choice. Funeral
arrangements are in the care of Ells Funeral Home Inc., 1199 Route
776, Grand Manan, NB E5G 1G2. Condolences, messages of sympathy may
