John “Harvey” Hinsperger of Walkerton, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2019 at Rockwood Terrace, Durham at the age of 82.
Loving father of John (Marion) of Walkerton, Janet (Peter) Kritz of Lake Rosalind and Karen (Maurice) Culliton of Hanover. Cherished grandfather of Victoria, Rachel, James, Patrick, Emily, Michael, Jessica, Jennifer and Jaclyn and great-grandfather of John, Abigail, Ethan, Logan, Gabrielle, Austyn, Charles, Robert, Benjamin, Asher, Delilah, Anden and Leni. He will be missed by his special friend Irene Jolly and her family, Tom and Betty. Dear brother of Verena Strauss of Kitchener, Ann (Don) Elliot of Walkerton, Fr. Ed Hinsperger of Arthur, Walter (Marg) Hinsperger of Stratford, Virginia (Frank) Reis of Wellesley and David (Joyce) Hinsperger of Mildmay and brother-in-law of Clare Kraemer of Walkerton and Velma Hinsperger of Varney. He will be fondly remembered by the Ruetz family.
Harvey was predeceased by his wife Irene (nee Ruetz); sisters Rosemary (Jerry) Murawsky and Angela Kraemer; brothers Norbert (Helen) Hinsperger and Ray (Norma) Hinsperger; brother-in-law Clarence Strauss and his parents John and Anna (nee Stroeder) Hinsperger.
Harvey’s family will receive relatives and friends from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton (1106 Yonge St. S) with parish prayers at 4:45 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Walkerton (221 Victoria St.). Fr. Leszek Szczygiel officiating.
Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Walkerton.
