Obituary of Gabrielle Stringer
STRINGER (MENDONCA) Gabriella – Gabriella died at Bluewater Health Palliative Care on Monday, November 25, 2019 at the age of 47. Beloved wife of the late Steven Stringer. Loving mother of Lyndsay Lajoie (Justin) and Tyler Cossette. Special grandmother of Olivia, Christian, Amelia and Noah. Daughter of Amorim & the late Maria Mendonca. Sister of the late Celeste Ramos (late Joe), and Manuel Mendonca (Fatima). Daughter-in-law of Audrey and the late Rhodri Stringer. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Gabriella was a passionate photographer and the proprietor of her own business Forever Memories. She was a very loving and compassionate person, always helping others. Gabriella was an advocate for mental health and suicide prevention. Her children and grandchildren were her life and being with them gave her great joy. Gabriella has touched so many lives in so many ways, she will be lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431. N. Christina St., Sarnia on Thursday, Nov. 28th from 4-7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Benedict’s Church on Friday, Nov. 29th at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to Pathways Health Centre for Children, 1240 Murphy Rd., Sarnia, N7S 2Y2 or the Canadian Mental Health Association, 210 Lochiel St., Sarnia, N7T 4C7.
