Foote, Donald Blair:
Passed away suddenly on Friday, November 8, 2019 at home alongside his loving wife of 55 years Sandra Gai Foote.
Blair is dearly missed by his son Todd Foote, daughter Kimberly Foote, grandson Mackenzie Campbell and sister-in-law Bonnie Gordon. He is fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, long time circle of friends and connections within the Waterloo Regional Board of Education and his childhood friends and family the Ingersoll gang.
Blair, a retired principal, enjoyed many years of retirement travel with Sandra and summers at their cottage in Honey Harbour.
Blair’s family will be having a private visitation from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Friday November 15, 2019 by invitation only. Extended family and friends who wish to pay their final respects to Blair are welcome to come to the Henry Walser Funeral Home 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener Ontario (519-749-8467) from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.. Private cremation will take place following visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation or Alzheimer Society of Waterloo Wellington would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
