On Tuesday, November 19, 2019 Mr. Arthur LeGros of Wainwright, Alberta passed away suddenly at Castor, Alberta at the age of 90 years. Art is survived by his son-in-law, Harry Loonen of Wainwright; daughter-in-law, Shirley LeGros of Yellowknife, North West Territories; three grandchildren, Crystal LeGros of Edmonton, Alberta, Neil (Amy) Loonen of Wainwright, Sara (Justin Standing) Loonen of Castor; two great grandchildren, Owen and Claire Loonen; his brother, Les (Fran Stevenson) LeGros of… Read More » Leader, Saskatchewan; two sisters, Ferne Gill of Leader, Shirley (Doug) Colton of Campbell River, British Columbia; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Gooday of Cochrane, Alberta, Billie Shepard of Calgary, Alberta. He was predeceased by his wife, Betty; son, David LeGros; daughter, Liz Loonen. A funeral service for Art will be conducted on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 1:00 PM from the Royal Canadian Legion, Wainwright. Interment will follow in the Wainwright Cemetery.
