Obituary of Phyllis Junop
JUNOP, Phyllis – passed away peacefully, at home with her family on Monday, October 21, 2019 at the age of 95 years.
Phyllis Junop (nee Saunders) of Pembroke, wife of the late Garnet Junop. Beloved mother of David (Judith), Toronto; Douglas (Catherine), Round Lake; Eric (Dawn), Pembroke & Philip (Claire), Newmarket. Cherished grandmother of Alexandra, Rebecca, Amelia, Meghan, Jessica (Max), Brooke (Oliver), Allison (Ben), Gregory & predeceased by Kirk. Great-grandmother of Ben, Sophie, Eloise & Charlotte. Dear sister of Doris Wood, Charlottetown PEI. Daughter of the late Frank & Margaret Saunders (nee Clakkin); and predeceased by brothers Frank, Harold, Eric & Sterling; and sisters Margaret & Hazel. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Respecting Phyllis’ wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Friday, October 25, 2019 from 6 to 9:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist Church, Pembroke on Saturday at 11:00 a.m., with interment at First Baptist Cemetery.
