Obituary of Miriam Adina McKoy
MCKOY, Miriam Adina peacefully with her husband by her side at Chapman House Residential Hospice in Owen Sound on Sunday October 27, 2019. Miriam McKoy (nee Hamilton) of Hepworth in her 98th year. Beloved wife of Herman McKoy for 72 years. Cherished mother of Lyndon of Baltimore and Paul and his wife Helene of Chicago. Much loved grandmother of Michelle (Clive), Andrea (Dane), Leanne, and Aharon and great grandmother of Aharon, Genevieve, Mikia, and Arienna. Predeceased by parents Louise (nee Bogle) and Hubert Hamilton, daughter Olga Lewis, brothers Richard, Mortimer and Alexander and sisters Louise, Christina and Violet. The funeral service will be conducted from the Owen Sound Seventh Day Adventist Church, 122442 Grey Road 5, Owen Sound on Wednesday November 6, 2019 at 12:00 noon with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Andrew Marttinen officiating. Interment Zion Cemetery, Hepworth. Arrangements entrusted to the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth.
