Obituary of Mildred Jean Leib
It is with heavy hearts the family of Jean Leib announces her passing on Monday, October 28, 2019 at the age of 86 years. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, John; grandson, Shane; granddaughter, Victoria; daughters-in-law, Kathy and Brenda. Jean is survived by her children, Larry (Bea), Wendy (Doug) Mohr, Terry (Don) Caslake, Marlin (Bev), Sylvia (Steve) Loverick, Lee (Glenda), and Darcy (Melanie); 18 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and her loving sister, Ethel (Bud) Starkey. Jean and John farmed in the Craven District for many years before retiring to Regina. She eventually moved to Regina Village where she had many friends. Jean had significant health issues the last several years. The family would like to thank the wonderful assistance provided by Home Care staff, which allowed her to remain living independently. Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Longlaketon Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 26-1738 Quebec Avenue, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9 or a charity of your choice.
