Obituary of Mercedes Mulrooney Palfrey
Mercedes Mulrooney Palfrey, a certified Nursing Assistant, wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister passed peacefully away at the Health Science Center on October 30, 2019 surrounded by her loving family after a lengthly battle with primary biliary cirrhosis.
She was blessed to have had 14 years on this earth because of the selflessness of her transplant donor.
Predeceased by her father Daniel Mulrooney, her grandparents John and Elizabeth Lake, Fredrick and Ellen Mulrooney, Infant brother Sammy and sister Mary, Mother in Law Mary Tobin and Gladys Palfrey.
Leaving to mourn with loving memories her husband Wish, daughter Tanya (James), son Charlie (Giselle), step daughter Terry and step son Jeffrey, grandchildren Tyrese, Jordon, Cassie and Nathan, mother Madonna Mulrooney, brothers Austin (Shirley) and Dan (Louise), sisters Darlene (Jerry),Sadie (Des), Bonnie, Mary (Mack), Yvonne (Jerry and Kay (Frank), her good friends John and Irene Whittle, Art and Joan Flood, also mourning her loss her inlaws the Palfrey family, and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia at a time and date to be given later.
Donations in her memory can be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation.
