BROOKS, Kenneth Don Henry
Unexpectedly, at his home in Callander, on Saturday, October 26, 2019. He was in his 55th year. Ken was the beloved husband of Stephanie (née Scott) of Callander and father of Kaylee (Matt) and Shawnna of Ottawa. He was the much-loved son of Laura Brooks of Powassan (formerly of Loring) and the late Clarence Brooks. Ken was the dear brother of Norma Currie (the late Lawrence) of Loring, Bernice Stillar (the late Sheldon) of Callander, Lynda Glenney (Paul) of Burlington, the late Raymond Brooks (Pat Eades of Whitby), Paul Brooks (Liz) of Callander, Alvin Brooks (Barb) of Callander, Pat Fleming (Dick Walters) of Callander, Karen Tucker (Billy) of Nipissing, Sharon Elliott (Graham) of Barrie, Joyce Davis (Henry) of Callander and Brenda Brooks of North Bay. He will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Ken enjoyed driving transport truck for nine years prior to hiring on with Bell Canada where he worked for over 25 years. Family and friends may gather at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
