Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family on Friday, October 25, 2019 at the L.A. Miller Centre. Jane Power aged 80 years. Predeceased by her parents Alonzo and Mary Dunne (nee Evans); brothers Blaise Dunne and Dr. James T. Dunne; brother-in-law Ray Manning. Left with fond and loving memories her loving husband of 56 years Mike; children Roger, Nancy (Preston) Galarneau and Beth (Tony) Itri; grandchildren Alex and Olivia Galarneau, Chloe and Rachel Power, Michael, Joshua and Emma Itri; brother and sisters Diane (Charlie) Daly, Andrea Manning and Peter (Ruth) Dunne; loving friends Maureen and Gill Wilkins, Paula and Chris Collingwood, Edwina and Hubert Hutton as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. No visitation by request. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, October 28th, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. from Mary Queen of Peace Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Newfoundland and Labrador Lung Association.
