Ivan’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the families of Ivan Walter Laing announce his sudden passing at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders, on Tuesday, October 1st, 2019 at the age of 74 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his children; Jessie (Jerry), Greg (Kathy), and Debbie (Roger), his grandchildren; Mitchell, Devin, Natasha, Dalton, Rebecca, and Noah, his siblings; Roy, Ira (Marjorie), Vera (Wilson), Alice, Irene (Laudric), Iris (Milton), Dora (Koylie), Cora (Bill), and Jessie, Ivan was predeceased by his parents; Edith and Walter Laing, his wife; Edith, and brothers; Clarence, Donald, and Melvin. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends.
The family will be receiving family and friends at The Church of The Good Shepherd, in Norris Pt, NL, on Friday, October 4th, 2019, from the hours of 7-9 pm, where also the Memorial service will take place from on Saturday, October 5th, 2019 at 3:00 pm, with Rev: Wilhelmena Green officiating with burial to follow at the church cemetery in Norris Pt, NL.
