It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing in Sturgeon Falls, Wednesday, October 23th, 2019 at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of Rita (née Rainville) Turgeon. Son of the late Albert Turgeon and the late Agnès Trottier. Loving father of Danny Turgeon (Ghyslaine). Predeceased by his daughters Rachel Landry and Carole Chartrand. Dear brother of David (Florette Séguin), and Gilberte (late Raymond Gauvin). Predeceased by his siblings Rhéal (Jeannine), Ursule Duhaime (late Lionel), Cécile Heinz (late Gary), Onil (Claire), Conrad, Rolande Dupuis (late Gaëtan) and Euclide (Rolande). Cherished grandfather of Chuck Turgeon (Michelle), Chad Chartrand (Emma) Daniel “DJ” Turgeon (Lisa) and Cory Turgeon (Manon), great-grandfather of Caleb, Mia, Nicholas, Philip, Gabrielle, Maxime and Harvey. Predeceased by his grandchild Amélie Landry. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held Monday, October 28th, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME Chapel, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury.
