Featherston, Georgina Anna
It is with great sadness that the family of Georgina Anna Featherston announces her passing on Tuesday October 8, 2019, at the age of 86 years. Georgina will be lovingly remembered by her husband Ken of 57 years, and their children, Harold (Susan) and Karen Timmins. Georgina will also be fondly remembered by her 5 grandchildren, Andrew, Christopher (Emily), Melissa (Ryan), Brooke, Grace (Philip), and her sister-in-law Ruth McCavour. Georgina was predeceased by her brother and sisters Madeline (Ted) Collins, John McCavour, Mary (Tom) Briscoe and Bernice (Ray) Cleland.
Visitation will be held at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Rd (at Roosevelt) on Thursday, October 10th, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, October 11th, 2019 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service in memory of Georgina, which will be held in the chapel, with Reverend. Teresa Anne Burnett-Cole and Reverend. George Clifford Armstrong officiating. Reception to follow. Interment will then follow in the family plot at Munster Union Cemetery at 4 p.m. Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Georgina to the Heart and Stroke foundation or the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
