Obituary of Gail Marie Henshaw
Gail Marie Henshaw (Norton), 65 of Kentville, formerly Hantsport, passed away on October 9, 2019 in the Valley Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Donald and Pauline (Lloyd) Norton.
Gail was a life-long fan of the Montreal Canadiens hockey team and the Toronto Blues Jays baseball team. She enjoyed her Tim Hortons coffee, but her absolute favorite pass-time and life-long passion was Bingo.
She is survived by her children Trudy (Jeff Curran) Curran-Henshaw, Shawn (Amy Linders) Henshaw and Heidi Henshaw; grandchildren Alex Henshaw, Connor Curran-Henshaw and Brigit Henshaw; siblings Marjie Lewis, Carl (Imelda) Norton, Jim (Linda) Norton, Doris Bond, Carol (Stan) Dodge, Kenny, Patsy (George) Benjamin, Bryan Norton, Donna (Les) Guptell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Gail was predeceased by her loving husband Ralph Henshaw; siblings Donny Norton, Betty Norton and Billy Norton.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service by family request. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
