1949-2019
RICHIBUCTO, NB – Edmond Martin 70, of Richibucto,
NB passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the
Stella Maris Hospital, Ste-Anne-de-Kent on Thursday, October 24, 2019
after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Rexton, he
was the son of the late Arthur Martin and late Eva (Vautour)
Martin.
Edmond will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 47 years,
Nelda (Richard) Martin of Richibucto; one daughter, Anne Boisvert
(Denis) of Richibucto; one son, Dean Martin (Margaret) of
Richibucto and three grandchildren, Marysol, Justin &
Nikolas.
Edmond is also survived by four sisters, Yvette Daigle (late
Edmond) of Moncton, Camilla Babineau (Fidéle) of Moncton,
Claudine Arsenault (Claude) of Moncton, Charline Fontaine
(Noël) of St. Louis; one brother, Laurie Martin (Bernice) of
St. Louis; brother-in-law, Michel Richard of Moncton and many nieces
and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister,
Lucienne.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Tuesday at
9:00 am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will
be celebrated on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 11:30 am, St. Louis des
Français Roman Catholic Church,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent. Donations in Edmond’s memory
may be made to the Stella Maris Hospital Palliative Care Unit or to
the Canadian Cancer Society and would be appreciated by the
family.
