Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Center on October 28, 2019, Clare Ann (nee Murrin) Thorne of Torbay, aged 69 years. Predeceased by her parents Hannah (English) & Thomas Murrin and brother, David.
Leaving to mourn her husband of 49 years, Norval; son Neil (Candace); daughter Joanne (Dean); grandchildren Jackson & Hannah Breen and Devon, Rylan & Caelan Thorne; sisters, Lorraine (Clarence), Mary (Paddy) & Joan; brothers Bill (Alma), Tom (Alice) & Craig. Brothers in law Wilson(Sheila), Clayton (Phyllis); sisters in law Cynthia, Sandra (Jim) & Gleniss (Paul). Also mourning her loss are many nieces, nephews and special friends, especially Muriel, Sheila & Barb and Jean & Rache Sullivan.
Clare loved life and spending time in her garden. Clare & Norval enjoyed the last few years travelling to Florida during the winter and riding around on their Harley during the summer in NL. Her love & spirit will be dearly missed.
At her request, cremation has taken place. We welcome family & friends to a funeral service to be held at St. Nicholas Church, Torbay, on Saturday, November 9, at 2 pm followed by inurnment.
We would like to thank the Neurosurgery staff, the Palliative Care Unit and caregivers for your care & guidance.
