KELLY, Cindy Lou
1956 – 2019
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Cindy Lou Kelly (Veronelly), of Calgary, AB at the age of 62 years. She died peacefully on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at the Agape Hospice with family at her side. Cindy passed following a battle with cancer lasting 16 years, including a second cancer diagnosis in 2017. She died as she lived, fighting until her very last breath.
Cindy was born on December 16, 1956 in Regina, Saskatchewan, moving to Calgary after falling in love with her husband of 40 years, Robert Kelly. They married amongst family and friends on December 9, 1978.
Cindy is lovingly remembered by her hubby, Bob; brother, Doug Veronelly (Lea); her children, Erin Cranton (Jeff) and Daniel Kelly (Kendall); and her four grandchildren Sarah, Maddy, Emerson and Levi. She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Donna Veronelly.
Cindy was a loving wife, mother, friend and nana who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, crafting, quilting, and experimenting in the kitchen. She also picked up a love for volunteering, spending time helping out with the Look Good Feel Better program (“LGFB”) and Pet Access League Society (“PALS”) with her dogs Milo and the deceased Cohen.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bow Valley Christian Church, at 5300, 53 Ave NW, Calgary, AB on Monday, October 28, 2019 at 1:00 pm. The family would like to thank those who extended support for Cindy during the final days of her journey.
