Theodore Ted Streppel

Theodore “Ted” Streppel
1933-2019
Streppel, Theodore “Ted” Wilhelmus … It was with
very heavy hearts and great sorrow we saw Ted pass away on Sunday
September 29, 2019 in his 86th year. After a short stay at Cambridge
Memorial Hospital, Ted passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones.
Our grief is tempered by witnessing someone who lived a good life, was
a wonderful father, grandfather, great grandfather and husband. He
demonstrated by example how to treat people and had a work ethic
second to none. His absence will leave a large hole in our lives
matched only by our love for him. Ted was predeceased by his first
wife Wilma (1988). Survived by his beloved wife Marlene; children
Anthony (Jane), Paul, Greg (Raquel), Trevor, Lisa (Leigh) and Jennifer
(Oscar); 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Ted enjoyed
his career with Canadian General Tower, retiring after 37 years. He
was a proud member of the Cambridge (Galt) Lions Club, an avid
arborist, horticulturist and gardener. At Ted’s request,
cremation has taken place. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas
St., Cambridge, where family and friends will be received for Memorial
Visitation on Thursday October 3, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9p.m., with a
pause for family reflections at 8p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations
made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would
be greatly appreciated by the family.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Theodore Ted Streppel..
