Steven “Steve” Barevich
Barevich, Steven “Steve” – It is with deep sadness that the family of Steve Barevich announces his passing at the Welland Hospital on September 25, 2019 in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Joanne (nee Tulumello) for 53 years. Loving father of Cindy (Dale) Wurfel, Steve (April) Barevich and Vicki Barevich. Dear brother of Nick Barevich and Bill (Judy) Barevich. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Alexis (Ricardo) Di Nucci, Jordan (Brittany) Wurfel, Joshua (Milda) Wurfel, Olivia Wurfel, Carli (Nick) Cote, Trinity Barevich, Tyler Barevich, Travis Barevich and great grandchildren Vienna Wurfel, Vito Di Nucci and Rocco Di Nucci. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Steve retired from Atlas Steel with over 40 years of service, following that he was employed Notre Dame High School for 6 years. The family will receive friends at the H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Wednesday, October 2nd from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Cudney Chapel at 12:30 p.m. followed by cremation. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Welland Humane Society or St. Kevin’s Parish would be appreciated by the family.
