Konowalchuk, Stanley Michael – 81, Bible Hill, passed away in the early morning of Sunday, September 8, 2019 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre. He was a son of the late Harry and Anne Konowalchuk. Stan is survived by his daughter, Donna (Larry) and grand-daughters, Jessy and Jade of Mount Uniacke, NS to whom he was their beloved Gigi. He is also survived by his son, Chris (Yvonne) of Nelson, BC. Stan also leaves behind sister, Sally (John); brother, Lorne (Donna) as well as many nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sister, Lilly. Stan served as a loyal member of the Royal Canadian Air Force for his entire career as a Flight Engineer. He moved to Nova Scotia to retire where he met and lived with his long-time love, Hilda. Stan’s family would like to extend sincere gratitude to all of the nurses and doctors at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre who took such good care of him. There will be a Celebration of Life at the RCAF club on Saturday September 21st, 11am-1pm, 22 Cottage Street, Truro NS. All are welcome to attend.
