Obituary of Peter Adams
Peter Hance Adams, of Springhill Junction, Nova Scotia passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 14, 2019 and the age of 62 years, while visiting his daughter in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan.
Born in Springhill, he was the son of the late John and Jessie (nee: Wood) Adams.
Peter was known for his love of playing cards, darts, reading the newspaper, puzzles, and bowling. He was an avid hockey fan; never missed a Boston Bruins game and loved to watch his great-nephew, Christopher play hockey. (Just don’t bring up the Maple Leafs or the Canadiens!) He spent as much time as possible at the lake, fishing, hunting, and having a few drinks with family and friends. His most favorite pastime, however, was spending time with his grandsons, Kohen and Kaiden.
Peter will be sadly missed by: his loving daughter, Krista (Ronnie) Arseneault, Lloydminster, SK; the lights of his life, his two grandsons, Kohen & Kaiden; his brothers, Brian (Dolores) Adams, Dartmouth, NS, John Adams, Irish Mtn, NS; and Kenny (Karla) Adams, Brewer, Maine; his sisters, Paulette (Darrell) Rolfe, Lockbroom, NS, Judy (Doug) Rolfe, Springhill Jct, NS, Terry (Ivan Smith) Casey, Pictou, NS, and Carol (Larry) Thompson, Springhill Jct, NS. He will also be missed by several nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews, as well as many important extended family members and family friends.
In addition to his parents, Peter was predeceased by his brother, Paul Adams and his sister-in-law, Terry (Boran) Adams.
The family will be holding a graveside burial service at Springhill Junction Cemetery on Saturday September 21st at 2pm. Reception to follow at Springhill Junction Community Center.
Donations in memory of Peter may be made to Springhill Junction Cemetery or Springhill Junction Community Center.
