Munroe, Pauline Cecilia The family of the late Pauline Munroe
wish to announce her passing at her home in Whitehead, Guysborough
County. Born to the late Emile and Mary Ellen (Fougere) Fougere at
Port Felix, Guysborough County on September
11th 1928. She is survived by daughters,
Beverly (Russell “Nic”) Nicol, Leona, Pauline
“Polly” (Fred) Gurney, sons, Guy (Sharon), James, Brian
(Jeanette Randall); 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister,
Evelyn Bowser. Pauline was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Guy
Munroe; sisters, Deltina Jones, Madonna Croucher, Loretta Bryan
brothers, Leonard Fougere; Alzear and Wilfred in infancy. Cremation
has taken place. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, October
12th at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic
Church, Port Felix with Father Jonathan Nnajiofor officiating.
Interment to follow in St. Joseph’s Parish Cemetery, followed by a
celebration of life in Whitehaven Community Centre, Whitehead. Family
flowers only please. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph’s
Parish Cemetery Fund. Arrangements are under the dignified and
compassionate care of G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, 17545, Hwy. 316,
