DIXIT, Pamela Joyce – Passed away with the love of her family by her side at Sakura House, Woodstock on Wednesday September 18, 2019 in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of Dr. Suresh Dixit for over 57 years. Loving mother of Jai Dixit, Jonathan Dixit (Julia Broeking) and Tara Dixit (George Furtney). Cherished grandmother of Lennon. Dear sister of Mavis Harris and Susan Stedman (Chris). Predeceased by her siblings; Gordon “Kit” Kitney and Iris “Aber” Wallington. Pam was a Past President and longtime member of I.O.D.E. – Vansittart Chapter. She was most notably known as the “Mom of the Neighbourhood”. When her children were young, everyone knew the playground at the Dixit’s was always available and Mrs. Dixit would make sure everyone had fun and was safe. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm, where a time of remembrance will take place in the chapel on Wednesday at 2:00 pm. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial contributions to V.O.N. Sakura House or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Online condolences at www.brockandvisser.com
