Obituary of Noëlla Jeanette Lavigne
Lavigne, Noëlla Jeannette (nee Trahan)
Noëlla passed away at the Algonquin Nursing, on Monday, September 9th, 2019. Beloved and cherished wife of the late Clement Joseph Lavigne, she was 80 years old. Loving mother of Mike and his wife Marion, Robert and his wife Darlene, Denis and his wife Marcelle all of Mattawa, Carole Bromberg and her husband Norm of Bonfield and Paul and his wife MaryAnne of Ottawa. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Eric, Matthew, Andrea, Ashleigh, Pascalle, Sophie, Adrina, Joshua, Kathryn and by her 15 great grandchildren and one more on the way. Dearly loved sister in law of Patricia Trahan. She was predeceased by her parents Oscar and Alice Trahan and her siblings Jeannine (George) Blanche, Harvey (Mae) Trahan, Roger Trahan and Simonne (Arthur) Joannisse. Noëlla will be sadly missed by her neighbours and many friends. She was an active and faithful member of Ste Anne’s Parish. Visitation will be held in the Martyn & Sloan “Mattawa Chapel” on Monday, September 16, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in the family plot at the St. Therese Cemetery in Eau Claire. If desired, donations to Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by his family.
