Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Center with loving family by her side. Leaving to celebrate Joyce’s life and shared memories are her children Rhonda (Dave) and Craig (Tracey), grandchildren Erika, Ethan, Elizabeth, and Eva. Joyce also leaves her sisters Joan (Wallace) and Sue (Ross) and brothers Steve, Bert (Maude) and Wilson (Tony), along with many nieces and nephews, and a large circle of extended family and friends. Joyce is predeceased by her husband Ron, parents Samuel Roberts and Marion (Mercer) of Spaniard’s Bay, and brothers John, Sam, George and Clayton, and sister Betty.
Joyce’s undeniable work ethic and selfless devotion to her family, especially to her grandchildren, will always be remembered.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 10th from 2-5 PM and 7-9 PM at Carnell’s Funeral Home, Freshwater Road. Funeral Service will be held at St. Augustine’s Anglican Church, Westerland Road on Wednesday, September 11th at 1 PM. Inurnment to follow at Anglican Cemetary Forest Road. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Gathering Place.
