Irene Josephine Paplinski, age 94, of Stratford, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving husband and family on Friday, September 20, 2019 at Cedarcroft Place. Born in Poland, daughter of the late Joseph and Teofila (Wojtan) Magier. Survived by her husband Stanley Paplinski of 69 years. Loving mother to Stella (Donald) Farwell, Theresa (David) Hart and her son-in-law Gregory Johnson. Proud grandmother to Jason (Roxanne) Farwell, James (Darcy) Farwell, Matthew (Jessica) Johnson, Renee Johnson, Jean-Michel (Mackenzie) Chadillon, Justine (Paul) Climie and her great grandchildren Liam, Claire, Trinity, Callum, Grady, Killian and Hunter. Irene will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Irene was predeceased by her daughter Barbara Johnson and her sisters Stella Korkus and Christine Dziamarski. The family would like to thank the staff at Cedarcroft Place, and the staff and doctor’s at Stratford General Hospital for the exceptional care given to their mother, it is very much appreciated. Family and friends are invited to a visitation at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Tuesday, September 24 from 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 25 at 10:00a.m. Interment to follow in Avondale Cemetery.
