It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald
Wayne Furey. Born, October 12 1951 in Bell Island N F. Gerald will
meet his parents Michael and Elizabeth Furey and his brothers Charlie,
Michael, Austin and William in heaven. He will be sadly missed by his
siblings Kevin, Leo (Linda) Mary (Kevin) Blair (Janet) and his nephew
and nieces and his furry friend City Kitty. Gerald was dedicated to
St Patrick church; he loved to greet church members as his own family.
He was always there for anyone and never asked for anything in return
but a can of Pepsi.
Funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick’s R.C. church, 53
Wellington St, Cambridge on Tuesday October 1, 2019 at 11a.m. with
guests being received at 10a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be
made to charity of one’s choice.
