in Guelph in a home and community filled with love and faith and were
actively involved in their grandchildren’s lives. George
worked at Browns Sporting Goods and retired from W.C. Wood as a
foreman after 26 years of service, working hard but always finding
time to share his golden smile and humour with
everyone. George volunteered in the formative years
of the Hellenic Canadian Community of Guelph and St. George Greek
Orthodox Church. He worked tirelessly in the Community of Sts. Peter
and Paul Greek Orthodox Church in Kitchener into his

team and all the palliative doctors, nurses and PSW’s who
assisted the family in George’s home care.
