Fernand “Fern” Laflamme
At the Parisien Manor on Friday, September 20, 2019. Fernand ‘Fern’ Laflamme of Cornwall, formerly of Alexandria; age 86 years. Loving husband for 62 years to Renée Laflamme (née Nadeau). Beloved father of Colette Laflamme (Bonnie Law), Estelle Laflamme (Manuel Ferreira) and Marc Laflamme (Denis). Proud grandfather of Cassandra. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Victoria Laflamme (née Taillon). Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Église Sacré-Coeur on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 11 am. Followed by interment of cremated remains in the Parish cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Fern a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows-memories live.
