Dorothy Ruth Karp (Saslove)
March 17, 1939 to September 25, 2019
Passed away peacefully at the Perley and Rideau Veteran’s Health Centre in her 81st year. Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Maurie Karp for 50 years and the loving mother to Jeffrey (Janet, Toronto), Darrell, Joanna, and Debbie (Deb, Crofton, MD). Bubbie to Stephanie, Stephen, Kaitlyn, Olivia, and Sam. Dear daughter of the late Samuel and Lillian Saslove, sister of Carol (Harvey, Toronto), and Barry in Israel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service to be held at the Jewish Memorial Chapel, 1771 Cuba Avenue, Ottawa on Friday, September 27, 2019 at 11am followed by interment at Jewish Memorial Gardens, 2692 Bank Street. Shiva will take place at 3590 Rivergate Way on Friday September 27, 2019 following the interment until 4pm and on Sunday September 29, 2019 from 10am until 1pm. A special thank you to the staff of the Perley and Rideau Veteran’s Health Centre for their care and support. Donations to the Dorothy and Maurie Karp Endowment fund gratefully accepted.
