David Joseph MacIntyre passed away peacefully at Emmanual House on September 29th, 2019, at the age of 61.
David had a generous spirit and touched many people by giving to the community by way of volunteering with ‘Out of the Cold’ and Knights of Columbus. He was an avid hockey enthusiast and coach, and went out of his way to help his community. He was a proud and meticulous electrician, for over 40 years through the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home – “William J. Markey Chapel”, 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Wednesday October 2, 2019 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm followed by Memorial Service at 3:00 pm in the Chapel.
In honour of Davids life and in lieu of flowers, we invite you to provide donations to Out of the Cold – Hamilton, Emmanuel House, Good Shepard – Hamilton, or Juravinski Cancer Centre.

Sending love and hugs, from some of the Cape Breton cousins. So happy we had the opportunity to have such a great visit last year. We chose Out of the Cold for our donation, having heard him talk so lovingly about the organization. We will be thinking about you all, on Wednesday. Take care, and hopefully we’ll have the chance to give hugs, in person, before too long!
