Brian Williamson

After a short, but brave battle with cancer, Brian Leslie Williamson, passed away at Seaforth Community Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family, on Sunday, September 8, 2019. Brian was 46 years old. Brian was well known to many as “Willis.” His hard work ethic, witty sense of humour and love for his family will be admired and remembered by all who had the privilege to know him.
Brian will be lovingly remembered by his wife Lorie (née Jamieson) and their children Ashley & Daniel Broome, Brianna Williamson, Brandon Williamson, Victoria Williamson, Kaitlyn Williamson and Jacob Williamson. Cherishing memories of a special grandpa are grandchildren Tarrah, Maddison, Sophia, Leland and Marshall.
Brian remains the much loved son of Doris and the late Neil Williamson (2016), brother of Gary Williamson, son-in -law of Dave and Laverne Jamieson, brother-in-law of Connie Johnston and Shaun Jamieson and nieces and nephew Kesha, Austin and Desiree. Fond memories of Brian will remain with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Along with his father Neil, Brian is predeceased by his grandparents Helen and Herbert Williamson and Dorothy and Meade Baker.
Arrangements are entrusted to McGlynn Family Funeral Home (519-527-1390), 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. As expressions of sympathy donations to Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation or the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
