Bernice Chiasson

Age 69, Cheticamp, passed away on Friday, September 27th, 2019 at home. Bernice was the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Marguerite “Maggie” (Larade) Camus. Bernice lived in Ontario until her husband’s death in 1991, where she worked at Carleton Cards, a job she was very proud of. She returned home to care for her Mom and 2 sisters. She loved children and loved to talk about the past. She had a very kind heart.
Bernice is survived by brothers, Patrice Camus and Napoleon Camus; sister, Marina Camus. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Charles Chiasson; sisters, Germaine Cormier and Bella Camus; a brother and sister in infancy and brother-in-law, Bernard Cormier. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. in l’Église St. Pierre (Vestry) with Father Pierre Antoine St. Cyr officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
