Il laisse dans le deuil ses fils Jonathan (Geneviève Poitras-Racine) et Christian (Marie-Eve Turcotte), ses petits-enfants Zachary, Mikaella, Thomas et Dalie, sa soeur Jeanne (Martin Boily), son frère Jacques (Lyne Castonguay) ainsi que la mère de ses enfants Chantal Lévesque. Il laisse également d’autres parents et amis.
