Obituary of William Howard Lacroix
LACROIX, William Howard “Bill” – Born July 15, 1935, Bill passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Chapleau Health Services on Tuesday August 20, 2019 at the age of 84 years. Dear father of Kevin (Annie Guitard). Loving brother of Betty Meldrum (late Art), late Rene Lacroix (Barbara Elliott), Shirley Harvey (Normand), Kenneth Lacroix (Lillian), Beverly Noel (Roger), Jacqueline Turnbull (Conway), Albert Lacroix, Gail Condratto (Michael) and the late Gordon Lacroix. Dear son of the late Harry and Bella (née Bell) Lacroix. Bill will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews, especially Dana, Skylar, Gisele, Michel, Tammy, the late Morris, Willie, Bev, Noelle, Steven, Kenneth, Heather, Bella and Dale. He will be missed by many good friends and customers of the 101 Gas Bar and Trading Post. Friends are invited to visit at the Chapleau Pentecostal Church on Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday August 24, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until time of the Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Dan Lee officiating. Cremation has taken place at River’s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie. Memorial donations made to the Chapleau Health Services Palliative Care Unit would be greatly appreciated by the family. The family would like to send a special thank you to all of the doctors and to all of the nurses at the Chapleau Health Services for their care and compassion.
