Obituary of Violet Matilda Cooke
Passed away after a lengthy illness, Thursday, Augsut 15, 2019, Violet Matilda Cooke at Palliative Care Unit, Carmelite House at the age of 80 years of age.
She was predeceased by her husband Leo; parents Pergolis and Priscilla Noseworthy; brother Gordon.
She leaves to mourn her son, Edmund (Dorothy) Cooke. Also her sisters: Vera Short, Myrtle Rowsell, Lillian Verge; brothers: Claude (Olga) Noseworthy, Ford, Raymond (Annie), Scott (Barb) and Pergolis (Judy); two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; also her special companion Leo Quilty.
To mom’s special neice Esme LeDrew, your kindness shown to her and our family during mom’s sickness was greatly appreciated and will not be forgotten.
Father Joseph will conduct the funeral service at St. Joseph’s Parish on Saturday, August 17 at 11 a.m. with interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
Pallbearers are her three brothers: Raymond Noseworthy, Scott Noseworthy, Pergolis Noseworthy; three newphews: Sheldon Verge, Kelly Verge and Keith LeDrew.
