Obituary for Samuel Edward Mitchell
Samuel Edward Mitchell
October 12, 1944 ~ August 9, 2019
Sam moved to beautiful British Columbia with his family from a long life on the prairies, oil rigs and farming. The mountains, rivers and scenery were something he admired. This is where he wanted to make his new home. Sam’s love and passion for ranching, raising horses and chuckwagon racing kept him busy over the years after moving to this beautiful area. Riding was one of his favorite past times, and one could always find him on the back of a horse wandering the ranch.
Sam is survived by his family, Linda, Michelle, Darren, Cody, Dylan, Brooke, Carson and so many more, including friends made along his life travels. He was loved and will be truly missed.
“Cowboy”
May your horse never stumble
Your cinch never break
Your belly never grumble
Your body never ache
May you sit tall in your saddle
Hold your head up high
And live life like you ain’t afraid to die
Sam don’t be scared….
JUST ENJOY THE RIDE
