Obituary of Robert “Bob” Rice
Passed away peacefully at the Leacock Care Centre, Orillia on Thursday August 8, 2019 at the age of 90, formerly of Coldwater. Beloved husband of Irene. Survived by his children John Rice (Joan) and Ken Rice (Daphne), by his stepchildren Jim Batchelor (Denise), David (Susan) and Glen. Grandfather of Yenie. Bob was a veteran and long time member of the Coldwater Legion and a long time member of the Coldwater Lions Club. Following Cremation a celebration of Bob’s life will be held at the Coldwater Legion, Coldwater on Saturday August 17th from 1-3pm. The members of the Coldwater Lions and the members of the Coldwater Legion will honour Bob at 1:30pn. As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Bob may be made to the Coldwater Lions Club or to the Coldwater Legion “Poppy Fund” and may be made through the Funeral Home.
