Robert “Chic” Franklin Ward
December 19, 1922 – August 19, 2019

The passing of “Chic” Robert Franklin Ward of Williamsburg, N.B husband of Dorothea (Warren) Ward occurred on August 19, 2019, at his home in Williamsburg. Born on December 19, 1922, he was the son of the late Robert and Florence (Keenen) Ward.
Chic had a great love for outdoors,
gardening and feeding the deer.
He was a family man and had a great love for his family.
In addition to his wife, Chic is survived by his children, Gaye Duguay (Alcide); Natalie McCarty (Ron); “Bobby” Robert Ward (Nancy); grandchildren, Lesia (Robin), Diane (Adam), Tanya (Tim), Misty (Chris), Emma-Lee, Laura, Timmy; great-grandchildren, Michelle, Brianna, Mallory, Brooke, Christian, Haley, Lexie, Liam, Lennox, Lilly and Cohen; great-great grandson,
Adam;
and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his, son, Jerry; sister, Hazel and brothers, Albert and Murray.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 6-8 pm.
The Funeral Service will take place at First Pentecostal Church, 2265 Route 148, Taymouth, on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 1 pm with Pastor Mike Porter
officiating, with Pastor Michael Trail assisting.
Interment will take place in Williamsburg Community Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff of Extramural, the community of Out Reach and Dr. Clayton for all the wonderful care they shared with Chic.
For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Canadian Diabetes Association.
