Raymond Joseph Benoit of Veterans Lane, Miramichi NB, passed Wednesday August 14, 2019 at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 61.
Born in Newcastle NB, he was the son of the late John James and Regina (Pitre) Benoit. He was a member of L’Ascension Roman Catholic Church, Beaverbrook.
He is survived by two sisters Bertha Malley (Alyre) of Saint John NB and Therese Daigle (Richard) of St. Louis De Kent NB, one brother George Benoit (Odile) of Beaverbrook NB.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three sisters Yvonne (Infant), Linda and Edith, two brothers, Jean and Paul.
Raymond Joseph Benoit is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, with visitation on Sunday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday August 19, 2019 at 2 p.m. at L’Ascension Roman Catholic Church, Beaverbrook, with Father Paul LeBlanc officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
