Philip Wayne Sheldon
April 2, 1938 to August 25, 2019
Wayne passed away peacefully in his sleep at his son David’s home in Lethbridge, Alberta. He leaves behind his four children David (Elizabeth), Marianne (Samuel), Guy (Yukiko), and Lynne, as well as twelve beloved grandchildren, six great grandchildren, five brothers, one sister and their families. He is predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Helene Coquet Sheldon and Brother Ronald Sheldon.
Wayne worked as a chartered accountant in Regina for sixty years. After retirement, he devoted much of his time to volunteering at his longterm parish, St. Mary’s Church.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 2026 Winnipeg Street, Regina, SK at 11:00 a.m. followed by a memorial reception at Embury Heights, 2122 Winnipeg Street.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church are welcome.
